Case# TT15HC

Location:

Fogartyville Cemetery (Bradenton, FL)

History:

Previously known as Fogartyville, this small section of Bradenton, and eventually the cemetery, was named after Captain Bartholomew Fogarty and his brother John. Impressed with the area, the two had moved from Key West at the conclusion of the Civil War. Together, they built cypress ships for fishing and transportation that could withstand the high seas, and the flourishing business contributed greatly to the economic restoration of South Florida.

Reports:

There have been a wide range of reports from this cemetery that include visitors feeling like they are being followed, or unexplained voices having conversations. People have also claimed that they were touched, poked, or feeling a cold chill. Other reports include hearing a voice say, “Back off.” When presenting questions at a gravesite of a Civil War soldier.

Investigation:

Investigators Bobby and Dianne were able to conduct a short investigation during the daytime hours. Many photos were taken of the area as well as audio recordings. However, nothing out of the ordinary was captured.

Conclusion:

There was no evidence of paranormal activity during our visit. However, Integrity Investigations may continue to revisit this location from time to time.
